The legal terms governing access to and use of AiLex AI-assisted legal services.
By creating an account, accessing AiLex, or using any feature, you agree to these Terms of Service and all policies incorporated by reference.
You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement, provide accurate registration information, protect your credentials, and use the service only for lawful professional or personal purposes.
AiLex provides software for legal-practice management, document workflows, legal research, and AI-assisted drafting. Features may vary by subscription, role, and jurisdiction.
AiLex is a technology provider. The service does not establish an attorney-client relationship with AiLex and does not replace advice from a qualified lawyer.
Attorney users remain solely responsible for legal advice, professional judgment, court filings, deadlines, client communications, conflicts checks, and compliance with bar rules.
Client users must treat AI-generated information as general assistance and obtain advice from a qualified lawyer before relying on it for a legal decision.
Your use of the service is also governed by the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Data Residency notice.
AiLex applies safeguards designed to protect confidential information, but users are responsible for choosing appropriate access permissions and for avoiding uploads they are not authorized to process.
EU users' data is processed under applicable EU safeguards; US users' data is processed under applicable US federal and state law.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance according to the selected plan. Taxes, usage charges, and add-ons may apply as disclosed at purchase.
Trial eligibility and duration are shown at enrollment. You may cancel before the next renewal; cancellation stops future renewal but does not ordinarily refund a period already billed unless the law requires it.
You must not misuse AiLex or help another person do so.
AiLex and its licensors retain ownership of the platform, software, branding, and documentation. You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit and grant AiLex the limited rights needed to operate the service.
The service is provided on an as-available basis. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and must be reviewed. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiLex disclaims implied warranties and excludes indirect, incidental, special, and consequential damages.
For EU users, applicable EU law and the laws of Belgium govern, with disputes handled by competent European courts or agreed arbitration in Brussels. For US users, the applicable US state or federal law and competent forum govern, subject to any enforceable arbitration agreement.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced through the service or by email and normally take effect 30 days after notice unless law or urgent security needs require a different period.
